Our Family 

My name is Christy Langston, and with the help of my husband, Daniel, and two little girls, Logan and Olivia, I own and operate Spring River Kennel here in Southwest Missouri. 

 

I am originally from Central Missouri, but met my husband in 2009 while we both were studying in the Agriculture Department at Missouri State University, in Springfield Mo. He graduated with an Animal Science degree and I, with an Agriculture Business and Marketing degree. We also own and operate Spring River Ag Supply, where we sell Stine corn and soybean genetics, small forage seed, and ag chemicals. Life is busy and always changing for us, but hunting allows us to get away and enjoy each other.

Conservation and good breeding habits are both important to me, I am currently the Vice President of the Springfield Plateau Chapter of Quail Forever and a Communications Officer for the Missouri Uplands Chapter of North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA). 

 

I grew up hunting deer and turkey, and it was always a joke that Daniel started dating me when he saw my family hunting grounds.

Outdoor life is something near and dear to our hearts, and we love sharing and passing that down to our kids. Logan is 8 and catching toads or chickens are her favorite activities. Olivia is 5 and at the moment checking cows or running dogs on the four-wheeler is her favorite.
